MeetingAugust 16, 2026On Sunday, 16 August 2026, an important session was held at the Minhaj Library, Jamia Masjid Rehmania, Tariq Road, Karachi, regarding the reorganization of Minhaj Youth League Karachi, presided over by the Central President of Minhaj Youth League Pakistan, Mr. Rana Waheed Shahzad.
Following the reorganization, Mr. Sarim Noor was appointed President, Mr. Faizan Naqshbandi General Secretary, Mr. Imad-ud-Din Shaikh Senior Vice President, Mr. Nisar Soomro Vice President, Mr. Sheikh Salman Tahir Secretary Information & Social Media, and Mr. Owais Aslam Secretary Finance of Minhaj Youth League Karachi. Office-bearers of the previous zonal team were retained for organizational continuity, and a 20-member zonal team was formed by including Mr. Arif Nisar, Mr. Muhammad Asif and other new members. The former President of Minhaj Youth League Karachi, Mr. Faizan Kaleem, was also given the responsibility of Central Coordinator of Minhaj Youth League Karachi.
The session was attended by the Central President of Minhaj Youth League Pakistan Mr. Rana Waheed Shahzad, Central Deputy General Secretary Mr. Shahid Hussain Rajput, former President Mr. Faizan Kaleem, former General Secretary Mr. Imad-ud-Din Shaikh, President of Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran Karachi Mr. Masood Ahmed Usmani, Vice President Mr. Zahid Rajput, along with other members of Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran and Minhaj Youth League.
Detailed discussions were held on making the organizational activity of Minhaj Youth League Karachi more effective, strengthening ties with the youth, providing intellectual and practical guidance, and actively engaging more young people in organizational activities. The newly elected office-bearers expressed their resolve to carry forward the experience and guidance of the previous zonal team and senior colleagues, while combining the energy and talent of new, dynamic and capable youth — making Minhaj Youth League Karachi more active, organized and strong, and continuing efforts to connect the youth with the Mustafavi Mission and a positive, constructive role in society.

Zonal Briefing with Central President
Following the reorganization session, the newly elected team also held a special meeting with the Central President of Minhaj Youth League Pakistan, Mr. Rana Waheed Shahzad, in which a detailed briefing was given on the working of Minhaj Youth League regarding the upcoming Karachi visit of the President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohyuddin Qadri, next month.
