Minhaj Youth League Karachi introduced its Youth Employment Support Program and officially presented its online employment portal during Dawat-e-Ziafat-e-Milad ﷺ organized by Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran Karachi at Jamia Masjid Rehmania, Tariq Road, Karachi.

The gathering brought together zonal and town office-bearers of Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran Karachi along with representatives and workers from Minhaj Ulama Council, Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Minhaj Welfare Foundation and Minhaj Youth League Karachi.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ. Senior leadership, including President TMQ Karachi Mr. Masood Usmani and Nazim TMQ Karachi Mr. Ateeq Chishti, congratulated the office-bearers, workers and different forums for their efforts and contribution towards the successful completion of activities held in connection with Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ.

Youth Employment Support Program Presented

During the gathering, President Minhaj Youth League Karachi, Sarim Noor, delivered a detailed briefing on MYL Karachi’s Youth Employment Support Program and introduced its dedicated online employment portal, jobs.youthkarachi.com.

He explained that one of the important objectives of the initiative is to support young people associated with the movement who are unemployed, underemployed or looking for better career opportunities. The initiative aims to make sincere efforts to connect them with suitable employment opportunities so they may become financially stronger and more self-reliant.

Greater financial stability, he explained, can enable young volunteers to fulfil their personal and family responsibilities while also allowing them to contribute more effectively to social, organizational and voluntary activities.

At the same time, it was clearly emphasized that the Youth Employment Support Program is not restricted to members or workers of the movement. The platform is open to young people from all backgrounds without discrimination. MYL Karachi intends to assist every eligible candidate fairly within its available resources and network.

Employment ultimately depends upon the opportunities available and the will of Allah Almighty, but MYL Karachi is committed to making every possible effort to connect deserving candidates with relevant opportunities.

From Registration to Real Opportunities

During the presentation, the initial progress of the portal was also shared with participants. At that stage, more than 20 candidates had already registered through the platform, while more than four employment opportunities had been received.

MYL Karachi had also started contacting suitable candidates directly and facilitating their placement in interview pipelines with different employers.

Sarim Noor explained that the objective is not merely to collect CVs or maintain a database. The program aims, wherever possible, to establish a practical connection between candidates and employers, helping young people move from registration towards interviews and potential employment.

He appealed to zonal and town office-bearers, professionals, business owners and members of the wider network to contribute to the initiative by sharing available vacancies and connecting potential employers with the program.

The long-term objective is to gradually build a strong employment support network where job seekers, employers and professionals can connect for the benefit of young people.

Official Website of MYL Karachi Also Introduced

During the same presentation, Sarim Noor also introduced the official website of Minhaj Youth League Karachi — youthkarachi.org.

Participants were briefed about the platform and its role in digitally presenting MYL Karachi’s organizational structure, leadership, programs, projects, welfare initiatives and youth activities across Karachi.

Through these digital initiatives, Minhaj Youth League Karachi aims to combine youth development with practical support. Alongside intellectual, moral and organizational development, MYL Karachi seeks to contribute within its capacity towards the professional development, employment and financial empowerment of young people.

The Youth Employment Support Program will continue to grow with the cooperation of office-bearers, employers, professionals and well-wishers who share the vision of helping young people build a more stable and productive future.
