Rao Tayyab is a long-serving organizational leader associated with Minhaj-ul-Quran and its youth platform, with more than two decades of involvement in town-level organization, youth leadership and Karachi-wide responsibilities.
His documented organizational journey began in Bin Qasim Town, where he served as Naib Nazim and later Nazim of Minhaj Youth Wing from 2005 to 2007. These early responsibilities introduced him to grassroots organizational work and laid the foundation for his later involvement in youth leadership.
From 2007 to 2009, Rao Tayyab served as President of Minhaj Youth League. His responsibilities later expanded to the Karachi divisional level, where he served as President of Minhaj Youth Karachi Division from 2009 to 2013, remaining closely involved in team development, youth engagement and organizational coordination across the city.
Following this tenure, he served as General Secretary of Minhaj Youth League Karachi from 2013 to 2014. He later returned to the presidency of Minhaj Youth League Karachi Division during the 2015–2017 period, continuing his service in a senior leadership role.
His organizational experience also extended beyond the youth platform. From 2019 to 2020, Rao Tayyab served as Secretary Finance of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Karachi Division, adding financial and administrative responsibility to his wider organizational experience.
In 2023, he was entrusted with the responsibility of President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Gaddap Town, where he continues to contribute at the town level. His responsibilities expanded further in 2025 when he became a Member of the Core Committee of Minhaj-ul-Quran Karachi.
Across his organizational journey, Rao Tayyab has served at town, youth, divisional and Karachi-wide levels. His experience reflects continuity of service, organizational leadership and a sustained commitment to strengthening teams, engaging young people and supporting the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran in Karachi.
