Shahid Rajput was born on 13 December 1985 in Orangi Town, Karachi. He has been associated with Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran and Minhaj Youth League for more than two decades and has served in organizational responsibilities at town, Karachi, provincial and national levels. Alongside his organizational work, he completed his MBA from the University of Karachi in 2012.
He joined Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran in 1998 and gradually became involved in student and youth activities. His formal organizational journey began at the town level, where he served as President of Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) in 2006. In 2009, he was appointed President of Minhaj Youth League Orangi Town, and in 2011 he served as Nazim of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran Orangi Town.
His responsibilities later expanded to the Karachi zonal level. From 2017 to 2022, Shahid Rajput served as General Secretary of Minhaj Youth League Karachi Zone for three consecutive organizational tenures, working alongside Presidents Faheem Khan, Mukarram Maqsood and Waseem Akhtar.
Following these successive terms, he was appointed President of Minhaj Youth League Karachi Zone for the 2022–2023 tenure, with Ahsan Naeem serving as General Secretary. This phase marked his transition from long-standing executive coordination into overall zonal leadership.
His organizational responsibilities subsequently expanded beyond Karachi. Since 2024, Shahid Rajput has been serving as Central Deputy General Secretary of Minhaj Youth League Pakistan. He also serves as Nigran of Minhaj Youth League Sindh, continuing his involvement in youth organization and coordination at the provincial level.
Among the notable chapters of his organizational journey is his participation in major national movements. He took part in the Long March of 2013 and was also physically present during the Inqilab March of 2014, where he was entrusted with responsibility for the management and control of the sound system during the march.
Across his organizational journey, Shahid Rajput has served at student, town, Karachi zonal, provincial and national levels. His experience reflects long-term continuity in youth leadership, team building, organizational coordination and service to the Mustafavi mission.
