A welfare initiative supporting deserving families through collective marriage arrangements.
On 13 September 2026, a collective wedding ceremony for 10 deserving couples was organized by Minhaj Welfare Foundation at Zam Zam Macca Hall, Korangi, Karachi, with the special participation of Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri.
Such collective wedding ceremonies have been a regular practice at Minhaj-ul-Quran's central level and in a number of other cities for a long time — this was the first time such an event was organized in Karachi.
Through this welfare initiative, Minhaj Welfare Foundation supports underprivileged families who are unable to bear the financial burden of their daughters' marriages. The Foundation effectively takes the role of a guardian for the bride and arranges the essential requirements of the wedding, including dowry and necessary household items, wedding hall arrangements, food, Nikah arrangements, and other related expenses. The objective is to ensure that financial hardship does not become a barrier to a dignified beginning of married life.
The youth of Minhaj Youth League Karachi also actively supported the ceremony by assisting with organizational and administrative responsibilities, guest facilitation, and other on-ground arrangements. Minhaj Youth League Karachi remains committed to continuing its voluntary support for such humanitarian and welfare initiatives of Minhaj Welfare Foundation in the future.
